Deep Canyon Preserve provides pheasant hunting and chukar hunting Deep Canyon Ranch. Deep Canyon Ranch is a 720 acre working cattle operation, that is committed to raising high quality, grass fed Waygu cattle... also known as Kobe beef. 
Our specialty herd are grown with respect to animal as well as the land. We free-range and grass feed our cattle. Our herd plays an instrumental role in quality of bird hunting. We use our cattle to help development of our bird habitat. Each spring, when hunters have packed up for the season, we open selected hunting fields to grazing by our herd. With proper rotation, we are able to assist mother nature with production of high growing native grass lands found in the "savanna" section and "canyon" hunts. Prior to each pheasant hunting season we select the best beef to be served to guests of Deep Canyon Preserve. Few experiences compare to what you'll have at Deep Canyon Preserve... what would be better than a day of successful pheasant hunting or chukar hunting, followed by a juicy Kobe burger?...

Opening September 1st 2010, Deep Canyon Lodge will be ready to accommodate up to 6 guests overnight. We will be offering lodging inclusive with our chukar and pheasant hunts.
You may also choose to do some fly fishing with us on the famous Deschutes River.
